11 & THOMS founder, Emily, started her business as an outlet to alleviate the impacts of burnout during her career in corporate Visual Merchandising. Growing up in a small town in Maryland, she moved to New York City at 18 and ended up staying for almost 12 years. What first started as a dream job eventually became tainted by the never-ending hustle culture and constant rat race. After some reflecting and soul searching, Emily decided to refocus on her lifelong love of jewelry and fashion. Growing up seeing her father build his own successful jewelry business was a huge inspiration and reminder that this passion could become a lucrative career. In November 2019, she took a leap of faith to become an entrepreneur and 11 & THOMS was officially born!

11 & THOMS sells a wide variety of trendy, bold, and affordable fashion accessories. Our main category, costume jewelry, is accompanied by vibrant hats, colorful tote bags, quirky socks, and trendy hair accessories! With a focus on both curated and handmade jewelry, our goal is to provide the most coveted and popular items of the season. 11 & THOMS believes experimenting with new trends and stepping outside your comfort zone shouldn't be expensive! With an average price point of $27, being trendy shouldn't break the bank. In addition, our brand always advocates for empathy and love by donating 11% of annual profits to charities in need.

Meghan is the owner and creator behind 24th & Gold. Meghan took her creative side and turned it into a business designing handmade polymer clay earrings and resin designs. She’s expanded her business to quality gold-filled jewelry and a collection of curated home decor.

It all started with an idea. An idea close to my heart. To allow the moments I love, the people I love, and the times I want to revisit to live on. Fernweh is a German meaning for missing places that don’t exist. And to not only bring myself, but you back to those moments is why Fernweh exists.

In 2021 I moved down to Charlotte with my cats and my boyfriend. I started a new job and moved into a new apartment. It was the start of my adult life. As time went on, the homesickness kicked in, which is normal. I missed home, missed my mom and her perfume that made me feel safe and at peace. I wish I could spend my Saturdays with my Nana eating her yummy food and stealing desserts from the laundry room, or reminisce with my Dad about my Oma and Opa who I have never stopped missing since the day they left us.

If only I could relive those moments that meant the most to me, that brought my heart home. Then I realized... I didn't necessarily have to physically be home to relive the moments I never wanted to forget. This is when Fernweh blossomed.

In my 700 square foot kitchen is where it all started. I began testing scents that would bring back the same feelings I felt when I lived those special moments. Fernweh became my way of bringing people home without physically being there. Even if someone just likes the scent for what it is, the reason I keep going is because it makes people happy. And that makes me happy.

I’ve always wanted to run my own business and COVID gave me time to sit back and evaluate my life, my wants and dreams. I’m so happy to say that I made my dream a reality and launched In The Ivy Boutique February 2021!

I curate all of my products from businesses within the U.S. I offer a variety of items such as jewelry, purses, candles, glassware, hair accessories and phone cases. However, the main focus is 14k gold filled dainty jewelry.

The items I carry are a great representation of my style, how I like to accessorize my outfits or items I’d buy for myself in my own home. I hope you love In The Ivy’s products just as much as I do!

Over the years, Jenni Nicole’s collection has grown to include runway inspired looks, accessories and home décor while still holding true to provide the best quality at an affordable price.

In August 2022, Jenni Nicole expanded beyond the webpages to include an in-person shopping experience that will offer our fashionistas an experience that meets all of their fashion needs. From the seasonal lines to Jenni Nicole’s hand-picked favorites, each style is versatile to be worn during the day and into the evening allowing an effortless transition no matter the occasion. Our styles always catch the eye of those who appreciate great style and quality.

Growing up around nature in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania is what sparked my creativity at a young age. I have always found drawing to be my most relaxing escape from reality. Everyone’s art journey is unique to them and I think that is one reason why it is so special to be a creative. My journey started around fifth grade when I would make custom drawings for my friends at school, by request. I loved avoiding doing my math assignments by covering the page with doodles instead. That is when I realized just how much I loved to create and I have prioritized it over what is considered to be a more traditional lifestyle since I was a teenager.

Many hours of my life up until this point have been spent practicing my line work and detailing. I look forward to learning new techniques and growing as an artist in the future. I have found that I have a great amount of patience when it comes to working on a piece which can have my full attention for up to eight hours at a time. To me, that is confirmation that I am on the right path. That being said, this is just the beginning. It’s a privilege to be able to share my work with more people now that I am in the charming Queen City.

The goal of what I do essentially is to bring a smile to someone’s face or brighten up their space at home. If one of my art prints or stickers can do that for you, then I would consider myself already successful. You will find lots of floral bouquets, mountain sceneries, and city skyline designs in my collection. These are all things that inspire me and bring me a sense of peace and happiness. My hope is that you can relate to this on some level when in the company of my designs.

Chloe, owner of Luca and B, is a dog mom to two retired racing greyhounds, Banner and Luca. Upon adopting them, she quickly found that she couldn’t find any bandanas, collars, or accessories that fit HER style, so she set out to make her own! Ashley grew up with great examples of entrepreneurs and longed for the time when it would be her turn. Owning and running Village Co truly is a dream come true. She opened Village Co in 2018 a year after she got married and moved to Charlotte. It was my first “baby” and other than with her husband, Nate, it didn’t have to share my attention much. But now she has a real baby, Oliver, who keeps her very busy, but between nap time and her night owl tendencies there’s (almost) nothing she can’t accomplish.
